Homegoing Prompts (choose only one of two):
1. There have been plenty of novels about the affects of the slave trade on the African Diaspora. What does Gyasis book tell you about the affects of slavery on the people of Ghana? Please discuss the characters who participated in the slave trade as well as those who did not.
2. Chose one story of Effia AND one story of Esis descendants. Why did those stories move you and what was the author trying to convey about the black experience?
