Holistic project

Purpose: This assignment aims to reflect on your present way of life, feelings, and personal habits and work to plan for healthier habits. This is intended for informational purposes and should not be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Instructions:
Review the learning activities for this module. Complete the Integrative Health and Wellness Assessment in Chapter 11 of your textbook (pgs. 202-206).

  • Create a minimum of two-page paper that includes the following:
Identify the area where you have a low score and a high readiness to change. Reflect on why this is your most significant area of concern. Develop a plan for working on the item in number one by setting at least two SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely).
  • Summarize at least two areas you have identified where you want to make personal improvements. Include one additional SMART goal.
  • Review the literature and summarize a scholarly journal that supports your goal and intervention. (This allows you to document using APA format and demonstrate proficiency in this skill.)
  • Discuss the value of self-reflection in this self-assessment and self-care process.
  • Discuss the impact of mindful movement and mindful eating in your self-reflection.

Complete and submit the assignment by 23:59 EST Friday.

Each citation and reference should use APA 7th edition. Typically, in APA format, students should avoid using first-person speech, but since this is a self-reflection, it is acceptable for this paper.
